History
History of Clearwater Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. Clearwater Neighborhood Housing Services, Incorporated (“CNHS”) was formally established in 1979 by a group of concerned residents who wanted to address the continued decline of the South Greenwood neighborhood, a community of more than 6,000 residents with some of the oldest housing stock in the city. Owing to its success in home ownership, economic development, home rehabilitation, and education. CNHS has since expanded its services to three counties, which are Pinellas, Hillsboro and Pasco. Since inception of the corporation in 1979, through a partnership approach, it has celebrated many milestones, while observing many achievements and accomplishments.
